Shelby:
Happy to hear that little by little you are returning to some normalcy in your life.
Hope the healing continues at full speed, and that all this medical upheaval will very soon be behind you.

Aww...Thanks Sara! I am happy to hear from you. Makes me glad I decided to come back online :) I'm a month out on the tonsil thing and I am wondering if I'm ever going to feel normal again...I'm sure I will...but WHEN?!? Ya know? I wrote Dr. Li tonight and asked what "normal" people report about this yucky throat feeling...Here's to iced drinks!!!

Hi Shelby,

You don't know me but I have really appreciated your blog so much! I had the same exact surgery as you (well, Dr. Li put the pin in my chin instead of taking it out) about 2 weeks after you. So, because of you I know what to expect. I know exactly what you mean about the feeling in your throat! After 2 weeks, I'm still having pain swallowing--I thought it would be gone by now.

Anyhow, keep on writing--I'm depending on you! (I really missed you during your "hiatus"!)
